Brian is a self-taught musician who goes by the nickname of Floyd Pepper of Muppet fame. He enjoys playing guitar, bass harmonica and also plays a "mean" tambourine. Besides being a circus freak, Brian plays in the acoustic gypsy sextet, Carute Roma and is a Joystick in the retro-punk band Jaki and the Joysticks. When not playing music, Brian works as a counselor and social-worker.
Talia Bamerick
Talia has lived in Durango for 13 years. She graduated from Fort Lewis in 2000 with a bachelor's degree in environmental biology. During her time as a student, she appeared in many FLC theatre productions such as "Taming of the Shrew" and "Skins". While in school, she co-created FLC Dance Co-Motion and choreographed and danced in numerous performances. Talia was a principal dancer in 3rd Avenue Dance CO. for years and has been involved in many local unaffiliated theatre and dance projects such as "Penumbra" and "Mandala". Currently, Talia is choreographing for the "Salt Fire Circus" and teaches modern dance at Dance in the Rockies. She loves snowboarding and cuddling with her fat black cat, "Monster".
Aaron Beck
Aaron has served as a performer, stage manager, designer, producer, dramaturg, and technical director on stage, as well as film and television in the USA, Denmark, and Spain. The most notable companies include Signa (Denmark), Looking Glass Theater (Chicago), and Harpo Studios (Chicago).
Thomas Bentley
After being a international boxer, sailor, teacher, restaurateur and 20 years in semi-conductor industry, at the age of 50, he ran away to the circus!

Maya Sol Dansie
Born in Boulder, Colorado and growing up in California and Florida, with one older brother and 3 younger siblings; Maya Sol Dansie was influenced by watching her parents dance and perform traditional Mexican dances. She began to teach herself the elements of Hip Hop by studying Michael Jackson videos at an early age. Maya Sol has been a Hip Hop and Break dancer in Colorado for over 12 years. She began training in Boulder, Colorado with Dance West Studio and Motion Underground. She has danced with directors such as Arianne Autaubo, Ken Jimenez and has danced and understudied with Brian Freedman, Tweetie Bird, Buddha Stretch, Napoleon and Tabitha, and Gary Kendall. She has performed in festivals such as the San Francisco Hip Hop Festival, with former team FEM (Females en Motion); Monsters of Hip Hop, ENCORE; and many more. During her high school career, she danced as a member of the Crush arena football dance team. Currently she is expressing her passion for dance in Durango, after graduating from Fort Lewis College with a bachelor in the arts.
Krystyn Dennis
(aka YY) is a quintessential 'Jane' of all trades. whether she's surfing in Costa Rica or sailing the South China seas YY is best known for adventure and FUN. She calls the 4 Corner's area home and spends most of her time gathering with friends and family and working on a farm. YY's involvement with the Salt Fire Circus ranges from Stage Manger to Cigarette Girl. She also assists with other productions like United Way's Radiothon and everything Tami Graham Presents—presents. She loves co-creating with the amazing individuals of the Salt Fire Circus.
Randi Foster
Randi Foster is a student at Fort Lewis College where she is studying to become an elementary school teacher with a minor in theatre. Randi has studied circus arts since she was eight years old. She performed on the Circus Smirkus Road Show in Vermont for four years and returned as a coach in 2009. She has been part of the Colorado Academy Circus Camp in Denver for a total of ten summers, the last five of which she was a coach. Randi was the circus coach for the Seraphic Circus theatre production at Fort Lewis College. In addition to circus arts, Randi is an actor, dancer, and choreographer. She is an alumna of Vail Performing Arts Academy and the Vail Mountain School Players, and she worked for A Theatre Group in Silverton. She is a choreographer for Dance Co-Motion at Fort Lewis College.
Erika Wilson Golightly
A Colorado native and alumni of Fort Lewis College with degrees in communications and psychology. She has performed, choreographed and taught for almost 15 years in the region including a performing stint off Broadway. She was a principal dancer with 3rd Avenue Dance Company, a permanent fixture in the Skins Project and has directed and performed many works with FLC Theatre Department and several Animas Music Festival projects. She is a member of the Salt Fire Circus and currently teaches classical and contemporary dance at Durango Dance. Erika's ardent love for the Four Corners region inspires her to share many disciplines of the body including adventurous and powerful yoga at Yoga Durango. She also performs with the Asa Fire Tribe and Mysto's Magic Spectacular. More fun than any performance opportunity is the chance to collaborate with the wealth of brilliant artists in the area. To stoke and be stoked by those who explore the inner, imaginative world is the ultimate pleasure.
Tami Graham
Tami has been producing and promoting live music in Durango since 1992. She started her career promoting music as the Station Manager of KDUR Community Radio in Durango, bringing music to the area via the Durango Society of Cultural and Performing Arts (now known as DAM – Durango Acoustic Music).
Some of her earliest promotions in the 90's included producing Ani DiFranco, Ben Harper, Michael Franti & Spearhead, Keb Mo, the Blind Boys of Alabama, Leo Kottke, Bruce Cockburn, Greg Brown, and many, many more!
She has had several different production names, including "Purple Fringe Productions", "Two Nice Girls", "Bad Girls Productions" with former business partner Felicity Broennan, who sadly has moved to Santa Fe, and has now settled on "Tami Graham Presents"…a tip of the hat to Bill Graham Presents and Bill's infamous and stellar promotions of live music in San Francisco in the 60's and 70's.
When not producing music, Tami is busy promoting and acting in the Salt Fire Circus in Durango, recently produced "Twenty Four Pounds of Bullets & Steel", a cowgirl opera; and is a professional mediator, trainer and facilitator.
She lives on a ranch in Mancos, Colorado and is a 5th generation Coloradoan!
Alison Hiam
Alison is a maker of things. She enjoys gluing things to other things and turning things into things they are not; she also sews things and knits things. Things she has made have been featured by Penumbra Theater Company, Pellucid Escapades, and Fourth Wall Productions, Kan'nal and the Dreamtime Festival. She has also recently learned to throw things and catch them without hitting herself on the head, almost like juggling. When not making things she spends a lot of time doing things like working towards social justice, providing support to survivors of sexual assault at SASO, and playing things on the piano. She hopes to do many more things in the future.
Minna Jain
Minna Mari Jain is a mild-mannered and musically malleable multi-instrumentalist and illustrator from Minneapolis, Minnesota. Married to Ringmaster Michael Rendon, Minna molds her modest urban homestead into a food forest of fierce fecundity, reads ravenously, and hikes… a lot.
Jamie Pittman
Jamie was born in Houston,TX and raised in Northern Virginia. Her love of performance began as a child when she would dress up as Michael Jackson and make up dance performances for her family in their living room. This passion grew as she danced competitively for Studio One Performing Arts School in Springfield, VA. Jamie moved to Durango, CO in 2000 to attend Fort Lewis College and earned a Bachelors Degree in Exercise Science and Business. While attending school she danced and choreographed in many of the Colleges dance productions for Dance Co-Motion and The Fort Lewis College Theatre Department. She has performed in several local productions such as "Mandala," "Kinetic Kaleidoscope," and "Mysto's Magic Spectacular."
Jamie is currently a founding member of the Salt Fire Circus in Durango, CO. She is a dancer, choreographer, and aerial artist for the company. Jamie's inspiration comes from the other members of the Circus and feels honored to work and play with them!
She is presently a hip hop teacher at Durango Dance in Durango, CO. Jamie also enjoys cooking, crafting, running, and hanging out with her adorable pup Miss Mia Bella.
Kelly Rogers
Owner of Lightning Communications, a local provider of media and event production services. Kelly's technical and creative accomplishments include sound engineering, software engineering, audio and video recording, editing and producing, music composition, live performance and studio recording. Kelly is the Technical Director for Salt Fire Circus, and has been involved in stage and theatrical production locally and in the four corners for more than a decade. He is a multi-instrumentalist and is presently involved in several music projects involving live performance and commercial studio recording.
Colin Rooney
A guitar teacher, singer, band member, music director, and current band leader for Durango Salt Fire Circus. He is also a professional musician playing guitar, piano, drums, bass, glockenspiel, vibes, and children's accordian. Colin is a veteran Durango performer and former professional cyclist with international experience.
Mark Stampfle
Mark has been contact juggling for 5 years, toss juggling for over a year and doing acrobatics for 10 years. He has performed with theatres, circuses, bands, for special events and people on the streets.
Mark spent time in Germany, studying with the ministry of manipulation. He is also certified with the IJA (International Jugglers' Association) as an instructor with YEP (Youth Education Program).
Not only does Mark contact and toss juggle, he also spins poi, staffs, mini hoops and hula hoops. He also can ride a unicycle, solve a rubix cube and jump over anything that is as tall as he is.
Mark currently lives in Durango, Colorado and looks forward to learning more circus skills.
Erin Stephens
Erin began juggling at the age of 11. Since then, she has worked to perfect the skill as a sport, a profession and an art. She won 3rd Place in the World Juggling Federation Championship in 2006 and 2007, and has entertained audiences across the U.S. in various arenas.
She is now on the Board of Directors for the International Jugglers' Association and enjoys spreading the joy of juggling through lessons and workshops.
Erin has performed with the Salt Fire Circus since its debut in 2009, and is thankful to share the stage with this talented group of people.
David Stickler (strongman)
